Deborah Wautier works for CEN and CENELEC, the European Committee for Standardization and the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization, where she is responsible for the engagement of key stakeholders in European standardization, while closely liaising with the CEN and CENELEC Members.
Since 2019, Deborah supports the inclusiveness, diversity & transparency of the system by leading projects to further enhance the participation of European Partners, Civil Society, SMEs, Industry, as well as developing and coordinating the CEN and CENELEC activities to bring a Gender-responsive perspective in the European Standardization System.
She has a background in Applied Linguistics and has worked for the Council of European Municipalities and Regions as the officer for Statutory Affairs and Service to Members.

Mr. Akshay Baburao Yadav, Teaching Associate, National Law School of India University, Bangalore, has a Bachelor's & Master's in Law with a specialization in Constitutional and Administrative Law from Karnataka State Law University. He was appointed as Research Associate, at Chair on Consumer Law and Practice and was promoted to Teaching Associate at the National Law School of India University, Bangalore (NIRF 1st Ranked University). He has been Deputy Editor of the International Journal on Consumer Law and Practice since 2020. He is qualified as an Accredited Mediator.
He has presented various research papers at National & International Conferences & Seminars and has published his works specifically on Consumer Law, Tobacco Control Laws; Alternative dispute resolution specifically on Mediation and Mental Health Laws. He is also interested in the safety of consumer products. He is assisting Prof. (Dr.) Ashok R Patil, in conducting research on policy changes on several aspects of Consumer Laws. He is a member of the Next Generation Leaders Network at Consumer International since 2020.
